If you're like us, we don't don't choose a restaurant simply because we like the menu; we're always thinking about where will look best on the 'gram. After all if a restaurant isn't Instagram-worthy is it really worth going to at all? Fortunately, there's no shortage of photogenic eateries in Manchester; these local hot spots are an Instagrammer's dream.
1. Tattu
iPhones at the ready. Tattu's dark wood walls, carved screens and intimate lighting make it the perfect backdrop for a pre-dinner photoshoot. The restaurant's most Instagrammable feature? A large pink tree at the centre of the dining room. Set your camera to HDR for the sharpest of shots.

2. Gaucho
From its sleek monochrome interior to its cowhide-embellished furnishings and art deco-inspired glass ceiling, Gaucho Manchester is begging to be photographed. The restaurant's private dining room and slick gold bar are just as Instagram-worthy.
3. Manchester House
Manchester House's luxurious interior and stunning cityscape views are hard to resist. Keep your iPhone on hand to snap your way through course after course of beautifully presented food. The macaroons and madeleines (amongst other delights) are as delicious as they Instagrammable.
4. The Alchemist
How could you possibly resist snapping one of The Alchemist's classic smoking cocktails? They're pure Instagram gold. For the most impressive shot, ditch the camera and switch to video mode - The Mad Hatter's Tea Party deserves to be filmed in slow-mo.

5. Gotham
Gotham's glamorous art deco dining room is often Instagrammed, with the restaurant's beautiful crescent moon windows and typewriter-adorned walls taking centre stage. For a stand-out Insta moment opt for the afternoon tea - it's just as easy on the eye as it is the palette.
